Well, I have found my new passion. I eagerly wait till 11:00am every morning, for my new best friend to drop off the Grand Rapids Press so that I can quickly open it up to the Lifestyles section and begin to indulge in this new passion. Yes, it is called Sudoku. If you haven't yet tried this "puzzle", I will warn you right now--it is highly addictive, but will stimulate those dormate brain cells--try at your own risk!!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub, 4 Kids In A Tub!!
I don't know how much longer we are going to be able to fit all 4 bodies in here!! It's always an assembly line around here at bath time. Undress, plop in the tub, wash hair, wash hair, wash hair, wash hair, wash body, wash body, wash body, wash body, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse, out of the tub(screaming begins at this point), dress, comb hair (which at this point, the screaming really begins), brush teeth ("i want toothpaste, no I don't, yes I do...."), wipe the sweat from my own body, ...kick the kids down the stairs (oops, did I just say that?).

Family
This past week and a half, we have had Dean's family in town for his youngest brother, Rob's, wedding. It is not often (in fact it is only the 2nd time in 10 years) that we have all been together. His oldest brother and family live in California, and his other brother and his family live in Calgary, Canada.
It was so fun to see all of the kids "get to know eachother". They had so much fun playing on the beach and in the pool and having "little adventures" in the yard. Dean and his brother built a bonfire pit in our backyard this week, so we spent almost everynight having a bonfire and smores!! Yummee!! The kids schedules were thrown out of the window, and being the nap natzie that I am, was a little hard to let that go, but what awesome memories my kids will have.
I am so fortunate to have such wonderful in-laws and thank God that he has put them in my life--they are wonderful people!!

Throw the doggie a bone!
I had this great idea this afternoon. I was making dinner in the kitchen and Tessa kept crawling after me wherever I would go. I kept stepping on her, and then she would proceed to cry and the cycle went on and on. So, I remembered that I had these "baby biscuits" in the pantry left over from the twins I think. (who checks experation dates anyway). All moms right now are saying, "no, don't give her one of those--they make a mess!! I think in the last 2 years my brain has forgotten most of what happended while the twins were babies, and I must have suppressed the "baby biscuit" memory. Anyway, I felt like I was throwing a dog a bone, and threw this biscuit on the ground for Tessa. She devoured it, but it also devoured her as you can see!! So to the tubby we went and have now vowed to never give her another one of those. (at least as long as this mind can remember that).
