Kleenex vs. Toilet Paper

Apparently, this is how one decides to wipe their nose now. We were waiting for daddy to bring home kleenex after work. For some reason, toilet paper didn't seem to fly with her. So, on a day like today--I gave up the battle!

Ahhh..the winter months that lie ahead.

We have begun the run with the winter colds. This little girl laid in this position most of the day today. And went through an entire box of kleenex. Anyone want to stop over for coffee tomorrow to keep me sane?

Still Naughty

Yes, I am still naughty. I overflowed the toilet this morning b/c I decided to flush it 15,000 times in a row. I wrote all over the downstairs couch with a pen I stole--which I had to climb on top of the counter, while mom was in the shower, to get. And I smeared yogart all over my hair and on the wall. My mom may be putting an ad on ebay for me soon.

Feeling Rusty

I am feeling a bit rusty at this indoor photography now that the dreary midwest weather is moving on in. This little boy is our house guest every Monday. He makes for a great subject to practice on. His mom doesn't know that I should actually be the one paying HER. She didn't know that she loans out her son to me every Monday.

Some recent favorites

Family Size

We have now graduated to the "Family Size" macaroni and cheese. There have been way too many times in the past few months, that the kids kept asking for more, and the bowls kept getting divided up more and more evenly. Family size= double the price, double the milk, double the butter. I hope this isn't a forshadow of what lies ahead of me in their teenage years.

Shhh...Don't tell anyone, but I have gotten VERY naughty!!

Commercial Worthy

I was taking Elli and one of her friends to a birthday party yesterday. On the way there, they were in the back seat discussing what they all wanted for Christmas, and what was on their Christmas lists. Elli's friend started talking about a white dog who "remembers your name". To which Elli replied, "Oh yeah, you mean the one that grows right before your very little eyes?" I think my child listens a little too closely to commercials, or I should get her into the commercial business.
