Well, when one owns a "lake house", what is one to do, but to buy a "lake boat". And, when one owns a "poor man's cottage", what sort of "lake boat" is one to buy, but a "poor man's boat". So, in order to follow suit, we had to make a purchase. 
We strapped that puppy right onto the top of the truck...
Hauled it to the lake, and set 'er up!
Set 'er in the water and started peddling 'er to 'er destination.
The hubby picked up a shipmate along the way.
The ships port, hopefully for many years to come.
And what's a girl to do, when mommy is too busy taking pictures, and daddy is in the water captaining a ship? She has to take matters into her own hands, and use what the good Lord gave her....a huge body of water.
Our other lake purchase....more on that later.
